Fluke 419D Laser Distance Meter – User’s Guide
While tools alone do not make a professional, it is undeniable that the right tools make any job easier. After all, there’s no reason to stick with outdated versions if new tools are better and more practical alternatives. When it comes to construction, renovation, and design, laser distance meters come in handy.
The laser distance meter is a measuring tool that accurately determines the target’s distance by utilizing a specific modulated laser parameter.
Fluke 419D Laser Distance Meter
The Fluke 419D professional-grade laser distance meter extends your reach to 80 meters (260 feet) with increased precision. With enhanced features like storage for 20 complete displays and a tripod mode for stable, long-distance measurements, it saves you time and reduces errors. Different tasks can also be completed quickly and easily by using specific function buttons. The extra-bright laser is easily visible, allowing you to see your targeting point even if the target object is in a difficult-to-reach location or a long distance away. These devices have a large LCD screen and buttons that are positioned to allow for one-handed measurements.
How to use a Laser Distance Meter
When working, the pulsed laser distance finder will emit a beam or a series of short pulsed laser beams to the target and receive the laser beam reflected by the target. The timer will then measure the time between the launch and the reception of the laser beam, and the distance between the laser distance measure and the target will be calculated. Professional-grade measuring tools are quick, easy to use, and small enough to fit in your pocket. Fluke laser distance meters are small and portable, making them ideal for indoor and limited outdoor use.

The Meter measures the distance to a target as well as the area bounded by two distances, or the volume in three measurements. Above identifies when a feature is model-dependent. When not identified, all models include the feature.
Kinds of measurement that can be done using 419D
Cutting-Edge Distance Measurement
Fluke laser distance meters employ cutting-edge distance measurement technology. These meters are quick, accurate, long-lasting, and simple to use—just point and shoot. Because of their simple design and one-button operation, you spend less time measuring while increasing the reliability of the answers you require.
Stake Out Measurement
The Meter can be programmed to measure a specific distance. Denote defined measured lengths.
Indirect Measurement
The Meter can compute distances using Pythagoras’ theorem. You can find a distance with this function two additional dimensions, such as building height or width measurements. A tripod is useful for taking photographs two or three-dimensional height measurement.
