Transforming Electrical Maintenance Inspections with Fluke ii910

The Fluke ii910 Precision Acoustic Imager is intended for inspections that necessitate high sensitivity and/or a wide frequency range. The 7-inch LCD touchscreen overlays a SoundMap on a visual image to identify location and report findings. The algorithms and analysis software included with LeakQ mode estimate the size and cost of a leak. The algorithms and analysis software included with PDQ Mode estimate the severity of Partial Discharges. The groundbreaking technology of the ii910 acoustic imaging camera is a cost-effective, safe, effective, and comfortable tool for teams inspecting and maintaining power distribution and industrial high voltage equipment. The ii910 Precision Acoustic Imager was designed to detect partial discharge, corona discharge, gas and vacuum leaks. Unchecked partial discharge can result in blackouts, fires, explosions, or death from arc flashes.

Easy to use

The Fluke ii910’is a rugged handheld allows problems to be identified from a safe distance without the use of cumbersome cords or accessories. Because of its intuitive operation, no training is required; it is simple to learn and use. Electrical discharge detection and leak testing can be performed as part of a routine maintenance routine, with the handheld imager allowing users to quickly and visually pinpoint the location of faults from a safe distance and record data for later analysis. Small, low-pressure or low-density leaks are now easily detected. The simple, user-friendly interface enables technicians to isolate the sound frequency of the leak and filter out background noise. The ii910 can record video for up to 5 minutes and has a battery life of at least 6 hours.

Fast and visual discharge and leak detection

The seven-inch LCD touchscreen superimposes a SoundMap on a visual image to quickly identify discharge or leaks between frequencies of 2-100kHz. Ultrasound signals are converted into clear visual images on the backlit touchscreen by an array of integral microphones. Data can be transferred directly to a PC via an integrated USB socket. The data can then be uploaded to the Machine Learning PDQ Mode. Reporting Platform from here. This will provide the most critical partial discharge insights, such as partial discharge type identification, indicating the relative severity of discharges, and thus prioritizing their repairs. Leak reporting software allows you to prioritize leak repairs.

Fluke’s innovative SoundSight technology now allows the ii910 to easily locate corona and partial discharge. Aimed at technicians who work with high voltages in power generation and transmission, as well as industrial high voltage equipment, this course is designed for them. Technicians in production locations can isolate the sound frequency of air, gas or vacuum leaks and filter out background noise in even the noisiest environments. Industrial maintenance technicians can identify leaks at a safe distance considerably faster than using traditional diagnostic methods even during peak production periods.

Fast and accurate inspections

The Fluke ii910 Precision Acoustic Imager enables maintenance engineers to quickly scan a customer’s electrical assets while they are operational from a safe distance, identifying areas impacted by partial discharge. The image can be quickly analyzed to determine the type of partial discharge, allowing the team to perform the necessary maintenance. The tool’s ease of use, speed, and accuracy benefit users, while customers can continue operations during maintenance inspections without shutting down the plant.

The Fluke ii910 detects more sophisticatedly than standard ultrasonic tools while providing the visual performance of more expensive UV cameras. It detects, locates, and reports corona and partial discharges, as well as providing visual reporting and severity assessment.
